MEX ALGORITHMIC TRADERS CHALLENGE-2016; Winner will get Live Trading Amount worth Rs 25,000
Mercantile Exchange Nepal Limited has announced the launch of the MEX ALGORITHMIC TRADERS CHALLENGE-2016, in order to encourage algorithmic trading among the tech savvy community.
Algorithmic trading, also known as automated trading, black-box trading or robotic trading, is the process of using computers programmed to follow a defined set of instructions for placing a trade in order to generate profits at a speed and frequency that is impossible for a human trader.
With a need to stimulate the learning curve in regards to the algorithmic trading, MEX Nepal has launched the first of its kind trading competition in Nepal.
Any individual can participate in this competition irrespective of their trading experience. However, the participant should be above the age of 18 years at the time of registration.
MEX ALGORITHMIC TRADERS CHALLENGE-2016 is divided into 3 Stages:
- Stage 1-Registration: Till 30 November 2015
- Stage 2-Trading Competition: 16 November 2015-31 December 2015
- Stage 3-Award Distribution: On MEX Anniversary (specified at a later date)
