MetLife reports an earning of Rs 31.86 crore in fourth quarter; profit was Rs 57.88 crore last year in the same quarter

MetLife American Life Insurance Company (ALICO) has stated Rs 31.86 crore net profit till the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.The profit was Rs 57.88 crore in FY 2074/75 in the same quarter. The net profit figure is without the profit generated from actuarial valuation of assets and liabilities.
The company’s earnings from premium rose to Rs 4.07 arba in Q4 from Rs 3.54 arba in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75. The reserve fund of the company has also increased to Rs 2.09 arba from the corresponding year’s 1.80 arba.
Further, the company’s life insurance fund has also increased to Rs 16.54 arba from Rs 14.86 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The total number of policies in force is 12 lakh 21 thousand 411.
