As MetLife celebrates its 17th anniversary in Nepal, the global insurer unveiled two new digital solutions to enhance the customer experience: A Global Sales & Servicing Platform (GSSP)-powered mobility sales solution, called KITE, and a new and improved website to help customers navigate our product and service offering more easily. The new digital initiatives were launched by Chairman of MetLife Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar, M.Nurul Islam at a company event in Kathmandu.

KITE is a digital sales application that enables the company agents and financial planning consultants to provide its customers with a seamless and differentiated on-boarding experience – anytime, anywhere. Interested customers can now learn about insurance, see illustrations, complete application form and submit it digitally through the KITE application. This new digital solution is the first of its kind to be introduced throughout the insurance industry of Nepal and will be available to selected agents in the first phase of the launch.

MetLife Nepal also revamped its website, www.metlife.com.np, with a new Global Web Experience, hosted on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform with integration to Adobe Analytics. This is one of the first websites in Nepal to be hosted on this platform. This migration enables viewers easy access into MetLife’s site with necessary information regarding the solutions provided by the company and other relevant information.

Nirmal Kajee Shrestha, Vice President and General Manager for MetLife in Nepal stated,”Our teams worked relentlessly with our Global and Regional teams across USA, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia to launch these initatives in Nepal. With the global expertise and solutions we will be able to make the lives of our customers more simple and easy. I strongly believe these intiatives signify a beginning of the digital world in Nepal’s insurance industry.”
