Merger between Vijaya Laghubitta and CWEDA Laghubitta collapses; disagreement over share swap ratio

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has published a notice regarding the cancellation of merger between Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (VLBS) and CWEDA Laghubitta.

As per the notice published, The 107^th BOD meeting of Vijaya Laghubitta held on Kartik 29, 2076 had decided to cancel the merger after disagreement in determining the share swap ratio. NRB had issued the Letter of Intent to the parties for merger on Asadh 26, 2076.

Citing the reason of the disagreement, merger talks between the two were ended.
