Mega Mutual Fund 1 Reports Decline in NAV in Falgun

The NAV report of "Mega Mutual Fund 1" has been unveiled for the month Falgun.
"Mega Mutual Fund 1" is a closed-end fund, meaning it can be traded in NEPSE. The fund has a maturity period of 10 years.
10 crore units were issued at a par value of Rs. 10 per unit. The issue was oversubscribed more than 2.37 times and was resized to 125% of its initial size, given the oversubscription.
Thus, the issue began with a fund size of Rs. 1.25 Arba, and has invested Rs. 76.02 crores in listed shares in Falgun. Rs. 3 crores have been invested in non-listed shares and Rs. 12.5 crores in fixed deposits. The fund has Rs. 33.29 crores worth of bank deposits, and Rs. 2.8 crores of other assets.
The fund has reported a NAV of Rs. 9.97 in Falgun, compared to the NAV of Rs. 10.26 in the month before that. It has reported a net loss of a little over Rs. 40.25 lakhs in Falgun. In the month before that, it was at a net profit of Rs. 3.23 crores.
