Mega Bank to issue 25% right shares; Global IME Capital Limited appointed as Issue Manager

Mega Bank Nepal Limited (MEGA) 5^th Annual General Meeting had approved 4: 1 (25%) right share issue to its shareholders. Ms. Anupama Khunjeli, Chief Operating Officer of Mega Bank Nepal Limited, and Ms. Nalina Shrestha, Chief Merchant Banking of Global IME Capital Limited signed the agreement. Global IME Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager. After the right issue the bank’s capital fund will be NPR 4.05 billion. Currently, the bank has deposit of NPR 29 billion and credit portfolio of NPR 26 billion.  The bank has 44 branches, 53 Branchless Banking outlets, 45 Mega ATM Counters, 1400 Mega Remittance Centers and one extension counter. Mega Bank Nepal Limited and Pashchimanchal Development Bank Limited had started joint transactions from Baisakh 13, 2073. The trading of the merged entity will probably commence from next week.
