Mega Bank signs agreement with Doha Bank to bring USD 20M into Nepalese banking channel; waiting nod from NRB to provide some respect to liquidity crunch
Mega Bank Limited is set to bring investable fund of USD 20 M i.e. NRS 2.25 arba into Nepalese banking channel.
The agreement for the fund was signed between CEO of the bank Ms. Anupama Khunjeli and country head of Doha Bank in Nepal Mr. Suraj Bikram Shahi amid a program.
The bank currently has 111 branches, 29 extension counters, 114 ATM booths, 79 branchless banking units and more than 2500 Mega Remit agents under its network.
