Mega Bank introduces hi-tech Branchless Banking Service from Kailali and Dang district

Mega Bank Nepal Limited has introduced unique TAB banking service for the first time in Nepal from rural areas of Kailali and Dang district. The Bank has introduced this unique and affordable product with the support of Sakchyam Access to Finance Programme. In continuation with expanding the Bank’s Branchless Banking Service, the Bank has initiated Branchless Banking Service with the help of Tablets on Sunday, 22^nd Karthik 2072, from Joshipur and Hasulia of Kailali District and on Tuesday, 24^th Karthik 2071, from Laxmipur and Saudiyaar of Dang District. Chief Executive officer of Mega Bank, Mr. Anil Keshary Shah has expressed that Branchless Banking Service has been established for convenience of the people in the rural areas with a vision to provide them financial empowerment through financial inclusion. With the support of Sakchyam Project this year the Bank aims to establish 30 new Tablet based BLB Service outlets in the mid and far western regions of Nepal.
