Mega bank declares 10% stock dividend; Paid up to reach Rs 2.87 arba

Mega Bank Nepal Ltd.(MEGA)  has declared 10 percent bonus share and 0.53 percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders

The BOD meeting of the company held on 2072-08-21 has decided to propose 10% stock dividend and 0.53% cash dividend (for tax purpose) to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2071/72.

The decision is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Earlier in the fiscal year 2070/71, MEGA had distributed percent 12% bonus share and 0.63 percent cash dividend to their shareholders.

MEGA had earned net profit of Rs. 8.43 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal year 2072/73 unaudited report. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs. 2.61arba. After distributing 10 percent bonus share it’s paid up capital will rise to Rs 2.87 arba.
