Mega Bank completes 10 glorious years of operation; 28th commercial bank travels a long way to becoming a 6th in paid up size after series of mega mergers
Mega Bank has celebrated its ten glorious years of operation on Shrawan 7, 2077 amid a program.
The anniversary event was addressed by chairman of the bank Mr. Bhoj Bahadur Shah, CEO Ms. Anupama Khunjeli, who highlighted the bank’s journey of triumph throughout last decade.
The bank has so far extended its business and coverage by acquiring and merging with several institutions like Pashimanchal Bikash Bank, Tourism Development Bank and Gandaki Bikash Bank. The bank that was established as 28th commercial bank of the nation now ranks in 6th position in terms of paid up value, 12th position in terms of credit and deposit size, as per the media statement.
The bank currently serves its customers via more than 1800 employees stationed in 206 branches located in 58 districts.
