Mega Bank commits towards fight against Coronavirus campaign of government; decides to provide Rs 1 crore to federal government and Rs 5 lakh each to all seven provinces

Mega Bank, under its CSR initiative, has decided to provide Rs 1 crore to federal government and Rs 5 lakh each to all seven provinces of Nepal to fight ongoing Coronavirus threat. The bank has made available the support amount via  the federal government’s Corona response fund established to fight the now-serious infection threat in the nation.

As per the media statement, assistant level staff members have contributed their 2 days salory, officer level staffs have contributed 3 days salary, managerial level employees have contributed their 4 days salary and senior management level employees have contributed their 5 days salary to the fund whereas each of the board members have contributed Rs 25 thousand to fight spread of Coronavirus in the nation.

The bank has also urged its customers to be in home quarantine and  make use of the digital banking channel as much as possible, as per the media statement.

The bank has  informed that it will keep its branches open from 11 am till 1 pm about which the customers can get information from the website and the official fb page of the bank.
