Mega Bank commits towards fight against Coronavirus campaign in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces; provided Rs 5 lakh each to both provinces

Mega Bank, under its CSR initiative, has handed Rs 5 lakh each to Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces of Nepal to fight ongoing Coronavirus threat. The bank has made available the support amount to the province government’s Corona response fund established to fight the now-serious infection threat in those provinces.

Gandaki province head of the bank Mr. Kamal Kadel handed over the support amount to Gandaki CM Mr. Prithivi Subba Gurung while Sudurpaschim head of the bank Mr. Sagar Ojha handed over the amount to Sudurpaschim CM Mr. Trilochan Bhatt, as per the media statement.

As per the media statement, assistant level staff members have contributed their 2 days’ salary, officer level staffs have contributed 3 days’ salary, managerial level employees have contributed their 4 days’ salary and senior management level employees have contributed their 5 days’ salary to the fund whereas each of the board members have contributed Rs 25 thousand to fight spread of Coronavirus in the nation.
