Mega Bank celebrates 8th Anniversary; Bank introduces various plans for the future
Mega Bank has celebrated its 8th Anniversary today. The program summarized the past achievements of the bank and also disclosed the future plans of the bank.
One of the main plan is the establishment of Mega Capital Limited with the investment of Rs 20 crore from Mega Bank. The establishment of the merchant bank is subject to the approval from the Rastra Bank. This information was disclosed by the Chairman of the BOD, Mr Bhoj Bahadur Shah.
Similarly, Ms Anupama Khunjeli, CEO of Mega Bank, unveiled 3 new loan schemes viz. ‘Mega Sana tatha Majhaula Karja’ for Small and Medium scale industries, ‘Mega Ghar Karja’ for the medium class people interested in purchasing house or vehicles and ‘Mega Professional Loan’ for the professionals involved in various professions.
The bank has also notified that it collected deposit of Rs 63 arba and floated loans of Rs 57.26 arba in the fiscal year 2074/75. Currently the bank has 101 branches, 14 extension counters and 119 branchless banking centers.
