Massive profit growth of National Microfinance by 104% to Rs 5.58 crore in Q3; EPS at Rs 74.53

National Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMFBS) has registered a net profit growth of 104.83% in the third quarter of the current FY 2073/74. According to the unaudited financial report published by the microfinance company today, its net profit has increased to Rs 5.58 crore in the third quarter, up from Rs 2.72 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Its net interest income has risen to Rs 10.32 crore in Q3 as compared to Rs 5.81 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. As of Q3, it has a paid up capital of Rs 10 crore with a reserve of Rs 10.40 crore. The microfinance company has collected deposits of Rs 24.30 crore whereas borrowed Rs 1.24 arba in Q3. Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs. 1.45 arba in Q3 whereas in the same period last year, the figure stood at Rs 71.48 crore NMFBS non performing loan (NPL) has declined to 0.56 percent in Q3 from 1.60 percent in the corresponding quarter. Its annualized Earnings per Share (EPS) stands at a whopping Rs 74.53 per share, net worth per share at Rs 204.3 and P/E ratio at 9.33 times as of the end of Q3. Major Highlights:
