Market’s gaining streak breaks after losing minimal points today; three companies hit the positive circuit

The market today reached a high of 1537 points. However, it posted loss of minimal points after six days of consecutive gain. The benchmark index lost 0.13% or 1.96 points and closed at 1502.18 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.3.41 Arba achieved through trade of 8,348,234 traded through record breaking 31,290 transactions trading scrips of 179 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) dominated the trade with turnover of Rs.20.43 Crore achieved through trade of 424,714 units of shares. The stock gained 4.41% or 20 points and closed at Rs.474 per share.

Three companies hit the positive circuit today. Kalika Development Bank (KMCDB) gained 10% followed by Manjushree Finance Limited (MFIL) and Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) with gain of 9.57% and 9.38% respectively. Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance (GMFIL) was today’s top loser after losing 7.53% or 11 points to close at Rs.135 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.49 points and closed at 318 points while Float Index lost 0.23 points and closed at 106.72 points.

Banking, Manufacturing and Others were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
