Market slumps by 7 points with no improvement in turnover; Samudayik Laghubitta hits the positive circuit again

The market today lost 0.64% or 7.38 points and closed at 1139.72 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.23.56 Crore which was achieved from trade of 746,946 units of shares traded through 5,303 transactions trading scrips of 167 listed companies in the process.

Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after 67,848 units were traded posting a turnover of Rs.1.64 Crore. The LTP of the hydropower project stands at Rs.238 per share.

Samudayik Laghubitta (SLBSL) hit the positive circuit today as well. The microfinance company gained 9.97% or 71 points to close at Rs.783 per share. Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.81% to close at Rs.8.10per unit.

Sensitive Index lost 1.5 points and closed at 245.20 points while Float Index lost 0.56 points and closed at 82.80 points.

All the sun-indices ended in the red zone today. Manufacturing and Processing lost 1.29% or 25.48 points, making them the top losing sub-index.
