Market Slides: NEPSE Down 24.45 Points, Turnover at Rs 15.09 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, loosing by 24.45 points (0.82%) to settle at 2,935.94. 

The benchmark index opened at 2,964.68, touching an intraday high of 2,969.50, while the lowest point was 2,929.44. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 15.09 Arba, with 35,819,829 shares traded across 345 companies through 138,256 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 49.80 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.86 Kharba.


Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 52.47 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 484.

RSML and SKHL hit the upper circuit and BJHL, SOHL, HFIN, PMPHL raises more than 9% in its prices. 


 Meanwhile, Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (AVYAN) recorded the Highest drop, falling 7.74%.


Among sectors, only two sectors ended in green and all other sector saws the drop, Trading sector rises highest today by 3.45% and Development and Banking Index falls highest by 2.32%.
