Market sheds 8.70 points off NEPSE Index; newly listed Infinity Laghubitta hits the positive circuit today

The market today was in the downtrend shortly after opening for the day. The benchmark index fell by 0.69% or 8.70 points and closed at 1247.35 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.59.10 Crore achieved from trade of 2,910,153 units of shares traded through 7,244 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVUPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.11.45 Crore achieved from trade of 670,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.171 per share.

Infinity Laghubitta (ILBS) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 10% or 31 points and closed at Rs.343 per share. Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta (JSLBB) hit the negative circuit today as it lost 9.91% or 105 points and closed at Rs.954 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.56 points and closed at 268.79 points while Float Index lost 0.67 points and closed at 91.47 points.

Only Hydropower and Mutual Funds were among the gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
