Market sees another 8 point haul in the negative direction; NEPSE index falls to 1144 points

The market today lost another 8.85 points today. The benchmark index lost 0.77% and closed at 1144.27 points today. The turnover stood at Rs.36.43 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,209,868 units of shares traded through 5,797 transactions trading scrips of 162 listed companies in the process.

Today’s highest turnover was achieved by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) at Rs.2.71 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.288 per share. Promoter Shares of Prabhu Bank (PRVUPO) were traded the most as 142,000 units of the scrips changed hands. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.150 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.81 points and closed at 243.28 points while Float Index lost 0.61 points and closed at 83.18 points.

Hotels was the only gaining sub-index today as it gained 0.02% or 0.35 points. Rest of the sub-indices lost points to end in the red zone with trading losing the most at 1.88% or 4.82 points.
