Market registers gain of 2.29 points to stand at 1179.36 points; more than 15 Lakh units of shares traded today posting a turnover of Rs.34.78 Crore

The market today stood to gain 0.19% or 2.29 points and closed at 1179.36 points. The turnover today was of Rs.34.78 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,513,912 units of shares traded through 3,205 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

Chhimek Laghubitta Promoter Shares (CBBLPO) stood ahead in terms of shares traded and turnover after 523,066 units were traded posting a turnover of Rs.5.86 Crore. The LTP of the same stands at Rs.110 per share.

Bhargav Biaks Bank (BHBL) was today’s top gainer after it gained 5.97% or 8 points to close at Rs.142 per share. Today’s top loser, Hathway Finance (HATH), lost 3.20% or 4 points to close at Rs.121 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.42 points and closed at 250.26 points while Float Index gained 0.18 points and closed at 85.78 points.

Finance and Other were the only sectors among losing sub-indices losing 0.03% and 0.15% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone gaining points with Development Banks gaining the most at 0.57%.
