Market recovers 5.40 points on the last trading day of the week; Tinau Development Bank and United Finance hit the positive circuit today

At its lowest point, the market was at 1143 points after which it recovered to close at 1155.50 points. The benchmark index gained 0.47% or 5.40 points on the last trading day of the week. Today’s turnover was at Rs.48.58 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,339,972 units of shares traded through 4,238 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of National Life insurance Company (NLICLP) dominated the trade today. The scrip posted a turnover of Rs.21 Crore achieved through trade of 196,262 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.1070 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. They were Tinau Development Bank (TNBL) and United Finance Limited (UFL). Bothe the companies gained 9.88% or 16 points to close at Rs.178 per share. Ridi Hydropower Company (RHCP) was today’s top loser after it lost 6.12% or 6 points to close at Rs.92 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.36 points and closed at 246.10 points while Float Index gained 0.44 points and closed at 84.29 points.

Manufacturing and Processing was the only sub-index the ended in the red zone after losing 0.01% or 0.23 points. Rest of the sectors gained points today with Hotels gaining the most at 2.34% or 40.09 points.
