Market posts loss of 3.75 points on the opening day of the week; stocks of Civil Bank Limited worth Rs.2.64 Crore traded today

The market opens for the week with loss of 0.29% or 3.75 points. The benchmark index stood at 1268.74 points. The turnover was worth Rs.29.81 Crore achieved from trade of 1,119,563 units of shares traded through 4,456 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Civil Bank Limited (CBL) with turnover of Rs.2.64 Crore achieved through trade of 163,922 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.163 per share.

Swabhimaan Laghubitta (SMFBS) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.50% or 26 points and closed at Rs.499 per share. Union Hydropower (UNHPL) hit the negative circuit as it lost 9.65% or 11 points and closed at Rs.103 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.53 points and closed at 273.30 points while Float Index lost 0.24 points and closed at 93.38 points.

Finance and Others were the only gaining sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
