Market plunges by 6.83 points to close at 1147 points; Asha Laghubitta hits the positive circuit

The market today lost 0.59% or 6.83 points and stood to close at 1147.15 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.14.86 Crore which was achieved from trade of 534,995 units traded through 2,592 transactions trading scrips of 158 listed companies in the process.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) stood ahead in terms of turnover after it posted a turnover of Rs.2.35 Crore with its LTP at Rs.2690 per share. A total of 66,173 units of Global IME Promoter Shares (GBIMEP) were traded today. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.174 per share.

Asha Laghubitta (ALBSL) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.95% or 42 points and closed at Rs.464 per share. Miteri Development Bank (MDB) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.89% or 12 points to close at Rs.233 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.57 points and closed at 243.97 points while Float Index lost 0.47 points and closed at 83.60 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points except for Hotels sector which remained unchanged. Trading sector lost 1.15% making it today’s top losing sub-index.
