Market opens for the week with minimum loss; two companies hit the positive circuit today

On the opening day of the week, the market stood to lose 0.14% or 1.87 points and closed at 1316.84 points. The turnover stood at Rs.1.09 Arba achieved from trade of 3,281,116 units of shares traded through 10,525 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) after posting a turnover of Rs.22.68 Crore achieved through trade of 686,098 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.336 per share.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) and Corporate Development Bank (CORBL) hit the positive circuit today. SHIVM closed at Rs.629 per share while CORBL at Rs.111 per share. Bishal Bazar Company (BBC) was today’s top loser after it lost 5.78% or 100 points and closed at Rs.1630 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.65 points and closed at 280.79 points while Float Index lost 0.22 points and closed at 96.44 points.
