Market opens for the week with loss of 4.84 points, closing at 1233.71 points; Rasuwagadhi Hydropower shares worth Rs.4.59 Crore traded today

On the opening day of the week, the market was in the red zone for the whole day. The benchmark index lost 0.39% or 4.84 points and closed at 1233.71 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.31.17 Crore achieved through trade of 1,145,507 units of shares traded through 17,022 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) with turnover of Rs.4.59 Crore achieved through trade of 217,982 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.214 per share.

Salt Trading Corporation (STC) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.11% or 48 points and closed at Rs.575 per share. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) was today’s top loser as it lost 8.10% or 6 points and closed at Rs.68 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.40 points and closed at 267.60 points while Float Index lost 0.45 points and closed at 90.61 points.

Trading, Hotels, Finance, Others and Mutual Funds were among gaining sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
