Market opens for the week with double digit loss, falling to 1244.89 points; 6 Lakh units promoter shares of Global IME Bank traded today

The market today opened in the green zone but constantly fell throughout the day. On the opening day of the week, the market lost double digit points at 12.27 points or 0.98%. The benchmark index closed at 1244.89 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.64.50 Crore achieved through trade of 2,361,500 units of shares traded through 7,201 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Global IME Bank (GBIMEP) was the most traded stock today. The scrip posted a turnover of Rs.10.38 Crore achieved from trade of 600,000 units of shares with LTP at Rs.173 per share.

Swabhimaan Laghubitta (SMFBS) hit the positive circuit as it gained 9.71% or 30 points and closed at Rs.339 per share. Rairang Hydropower (RRHP) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.95% or 8 points and closed at Rs.107 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.92 points and closed at 269.24 points while Float Index lost 0.95 points and closed at 91.30 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
