Market open for the week with loss of double digit points, falling to 1139.25 points; turnover amount falls to Rs.22.69 Crore

The index today stooped to a low of 1135 points but in the final minutes it managed to recover a few points and closed at 1139.25 points. The market opens for the week with loss of 1.39% or 16.05 points. The turnover stood at Rs.22.69 Crore achieved through trade of 848,662 units of shares traded through 5,896 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) had the highest turnover today worth Rs.1.80 Crore with LTP at Rs.543 per share. Promoter Shares of Gandaki Bikas Bank (GDBLPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 135,759 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.122 per share.

Best Finance Company (BFC) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.55% or 4 points and closed at Rs.92 per share. Reliance Finance Limited (RLFL) was today’s top loser as it lost 8.33% or 10 points and closed at Rs.110 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.49 points and closed at 249.71 points while Float Index lost 1.23 points and closed at 84.31 points.

Only others sub-index posted a gain of 0.11% while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
