Market moves in the positive direction by 3.52 points to close at 1184.61 points; Kumari Bank Limited dominates today’s trade

The market today reached a high of 1188 points in the closing hour of trade. The benchmark index gained 0.30% or 3.52 points and closed at 1184.61 points today. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.41.04 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,612,396 units of shares traded through 5,975 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) dominated the trade today in terms of turnover and shares traded. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.5.72 Crore achieved through trade of 220,874 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.259 per share.

Nepal Community Development Bank Limited (NCDB) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.07% or 7 points and closed at Rs.145 per share. Unnati Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (UMB) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.55% or 67 points and closed at Rs.1140 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.73 points and closed at 253.58 points while Float Index gained 0.25 points and closed at 86.82 points.

Hydropower was the only sector in the red zone today as it lost 0.47% or 5.43 points. Rest of the sub-indices gained points with Others gaining the most at 0.96%.
