Market makes minimum movement in the positive direction to close at 1260 points; turnover slumps to Rs.61 Crore

The market today stood to gain minimum of 0.30% or 3.74 points and closed at 1260.68 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.61.41 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,801,522 units of shares traded through 6,660 transactions trading scrips of 176 listed companies in the process.

Today’s highest turnover was achieved by Chhimek Laghubitta (CBBL) at Rs.4.96 Crore with LTP at Rs.1021 per share. In terms of volume, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead with trade of 137,845 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.309 per share.

Everest Insurance Company (EIC) hit the positive circuit as it gained 9.89% or 35 points and closed at Rs.389 per share. Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) was today’s top loser as it lost 4.79% or 7 points and closed at Rs.139 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.90 points and closed at 272.27 points while Float Index gained 0.25 points and closed at 92.81 points.

Among the sub-indices, Banking, Development Banks, Finance, Non-Life Insurance and Manufacturing gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
