Market makes minimal movement towards the negative direction, losing 0.62 points; turnover stands at Rs.46 Crore

The market today made minimal movement in both the direction during today’s regulation trading time. The benchmark index lost 0.62 points and closed at 1248.53 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.46 Crore achieved from trade of 1,654,251 units of shares traded through 8,655 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated today’s trade with turnover of Rs.5.29 Crore achieved from trade of 157,150 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.337 per share.

Nadep Laghubitta (NADEP) was today’s top gainer after it gained 4.73% or 19 points and closed at Rs.421 per share. Multipurpose Finance (MPFL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.67% or 8 points and closed at Rs.133 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.01 points and closed at 268.32 points while Float Index lost 0.01 points and closed at 91.71 points.

Only Banking and Hydropower were among gaining sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
