Market loses for the third consecutive day falling to 1289.28 points; Taragaon Regency Hotel further gains 21 points

The market today lost 0.28% or 3.56 points marking the third consecutive day of loss this week. The benchmark index closed at 1289.28 points. The turnover stood at Rs.71.54 Crore achieved from trade of 2,252,546 units of shares traded through 9,939 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) posted the highest turnover today of Rs.12.13 Crore with LTP at Rs.675 per share. In terms of volume, Prabhu bank (PRVU) stood ahead with trade of 343,537 units of share. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.274 per share.

Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH) was today’s top gainer after it gained 6.98% or 21 points and closed at Rs.322 per share. Joshi Hydropower Company (JOSHI) was today’s top loser after it lost 6.38% or 6 points and closed at Rs.88 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.62 points and closed at 274.86 points while Float Index lost 0.25 points and closed at 94.42 points.

Hotels, Development Banks, Finance and Manufacturing were among the gaining sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
