Market loses for the third consecutive day, closing at 1168.91 points; Promoter Shares of Civil Bank worth Rs.4 Crore traded

The market today lost 0.81% or 9.54 points. Losing for the third consecutive day. The benchmark index closed at 1168.91 points. The turnover stood at Rs.29.92 Crore achieved through trade of 1,428,838 units of shares traded through 7,836 transactions trading 173 scrips of listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBLPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.4 Crore achieved through trade of 400,000 units of shares.

Adhikhola Laghubitta (AKBSL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.18% or 23 points and closed at Rs.467 per share. United Insurance Company (UIC) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.32% or 15 points and closed at Rs.267 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.77 points and closed at 255.35 points while Float Index lost 0.63 points and closed at 86.43 points.

Only Manufacturing sector gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. Hotels lost the most at 2.29% or 44.59 points.
