Market loses double digits on the first trading day of the week; NEPSE Index stands at 1166.43 points with turnover of Rs.25 Crore

The market today lost 1.25% or 14.82 points to close at 1166.43 points. Today’s total turnover was of Rs.25.06 Crore achieved from trade of 840,055 units of shares traded through 3,945 transactions trading scrips of 154 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank (NMB) stood ahead in terms of shares traded and turnover. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.3.65 Crore achieved through trade of 102,174 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.356 per share.

Today’s top gainer was Ngadi Group Power (NGPL) after it gained 6.25% or 8 points to close at Rs.136 per share. NMB Microfinance (NMBMF) list the lost today after losing 7.20% or 84 points to close at Rs.1082 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 3.08 points and closed at 247.98 points while Float Index lost 0.96 points and closed at 84.77 points.

All of the sub-indices lost points today, ending in the red zone among which Manufacturing and Products lost the most at 2.19% or 50.54 points.
