Market loses 9.13 points and slips to 1307.71 points; three companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today slumped by 0.69% or 9.13 points and closed at 1307.71 points. The turnover was worth Rs.1.22 Arba achieved from trade of 3,398,680 units traded through 12,009 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.
In terms of turnover, Shivam Cements (SHIVM) stood ahead with turnover of Rs.25.21 Crore with LTP of Rs.588 per share. In terms of share traded, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead with trade of 677,987 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.338 per share.
Three companies hit the positive circuit today. Corporate Development Bank (CORBL) gained 9.91%, Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL) gained 9.70% and Best Finance Company (BFC) gained 9.28%. Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.76% or 16 points and closed at Rs.190 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 0.99 points and closed at 279.80 points while Float Index lost 0.68 points and closed at 95.75 points.
Hydropower and Others were the only gaining sub-indices today while all other sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
