Market loses 8.54 points as turnover stands at Rs.17.5 Crore; EIC hits negative circuit after losing 94 points

The market today stood to lose 0.72% or 8.54 points to close at 1181.66 points. The turnover was of Rs.17.49 Crore which was achieved from trade of 566,669 units of shares through 3,053 transactions trading scrips of 145 companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded. A turnover of Rs.2.38 Crore was achieved through trade of 81,025 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.293 per share.

Today’s top gainer was Kisan Microfinance (KMFL) after it gained 5.80% or 65 points to close at Rs.1185 per share. Everest Insurance Company (EIC) hit the negative circuit after it lost 9.94% or 94 points to close at 851 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.96 points and closed at 251.08 points while Float Index lost 0.56 points to close at 85.85 points.

Manufacturing and Products was the only gaining sub-index today. It gained 0.31% while all the other sub-indices ended in the red zone. Banking sector lost the most at 0.86%.
