Market loses 2.70 points while turnover is less than 20 Crore; United Finance hits the positive circuit

The market today lost 2.70 points or 0.22% and closed at 1241.84 points. The turnover stands at Rs.19.87 Crore which was achieved from trade of 842,196 units of shares through 3,401 transactions trading scrips of 155 companies.

Prabhu Bank (PRVU) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after trade of 135,157 units of shares posting a turnover of Rs.3.37 Crore. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.253 per share.

United Finance Limited (UFL) hit the positive circuit after it gained 9.82% or 16 points to close at Rs.179 per share. Today’s top loser was Samata Microfinance (SMATA) after it lost 4.16% or 62 points to close at Rs.1426 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.54 points and closed at 264.46 while Float Index lost 0.16 points and closed at 90.54 points.

Only banking, finance and manufacturing sectors were among gaining sub-indices, gaining 0.04 points, 4.36 points and 31.62 points respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone while hotels remained unchanged. Non-Life Insurance sector lost the most after is posted a loss of 1.24% or 71.47 points.
