Market loses 2.10 points while turnover stands at Rs.40.48 Crore; Nepal Bank’s turnover makes more than 38% of today’s total turnover

The market today lost 0.18% or 2.10 points to close at 1159.38 points. Today’s turnover was relatively higher than that of most days at Rs.40.48 Crore achieved from trade of 1,396,927 units of shares traded through 3,539 transactions trading scrips of 153 listed companies in the process.

Sensitive Index lost 0.47 points and closed at 246.52 points while Float Index lost 0.20 points to close at 84.23 points.

Except for Others sub-index, all the sub-indices ended in the red zone losing points. Others gained 0.29% or 2.11 points.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded after 532,427 units of shares were traded to post a turnover of Rs.15.66 Crore making up more than 38% of the total turnover. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.296 per share that remains unchanged.

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) was today’s top gainer after gaining 3.97% to close at Rs.8.65 per unit. Today’s top loser was Samata Microfinance (SMATA) after it lost 5.41% or 65 points to close at Rs.1135 per share.
