Market loses 1.14 points on the last trading day of the week; NMB shares traded the most today

On the last trading day of the week, the market lost 0.10% or 1.14 points to close at 1181.41 points. The turnover for the day was Rs.25.25 Crore achieved from trade of 774,686 units of shares through 4,003 transactions trading scrips of 143 listed companies in the process.

After declaration of dividend, NMB Bank (NMB) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.7.85 Crore through trade of 219,694 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.356 per share.

Today’s top gainer was NIC Asia Growth Fund (NICGF) after it gained 11.13% or 1 point to close at Rs.8.89 per unit. Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.60% or 73 points to close at Rs.1511 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.31 points to close at 251.70 points while Float Index lost 0.18 points to close at 85.73 points.

Banking, Development banks, Microfinance and Life Insurance sectors were among the losing sub-indices and ended in the red zone. Rest of the sub-indices stood to gain points with Hotels gaining the most at 1.86%.
