Market looking to stabilize after gaining 6.61 Points; Courtesy of good Q4 Reports

After some ups and downs, the market today closed in the green zone gaining 6.61 points to close at 1180.98 points. It seems that the fall of the first day of the week have been completely corrected after a gain of 0.56%. The turnover today was of Rs.18.95 Crore from trade of 732,725 units of shares from 3,278 transactions.

Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB) had the highest turnover of Rs.85.53 Lakhs and Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) was a close second with turnover of Rs.80.15 Lakhs. Om development Bank (ODBL) had the highest number of shares traded with 40,623 units.

Arambha Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha (AMFI) was the top gainer today after gaining 82 points, making it the third consecutive day it has been amongst top gainers. Other companies in this list include Himilayan Distillery Limited (HDL) with gain of 103 points and City Express Finance Limited (CEFL) gaining 5.88%.

The top loser today was Multipurpose Finance Company (MPFL) after it lost 11 points comprising of 5.36% fall in the price. Barun Hydropower Company (BARUN) and Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) were also amongst top losers after losing 2.17% and 2.02% respectively.

The Sensitive and Float index gained 1.56 and 0.70 points respectively.

Except for Hotels and Other sub-indices, all the other sub-indices were green today with Non-Life Insurance sub-index being the top gainer after increasing by 50.01 points.
