Machhapuchchhre Bank Finances 20 MW Solar Project in Sunsari

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has completed the financial closure of a 20 MW grid-connected solar power project which was promoted by Pashupati Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Sunsari, Koshi Province.
The bank is the sole financier of the project and will finance up to 80% of it's total cost. The construction period has been set a 1.5 years.
The solar project is expected to add to Nepal's renewable energy generation capacity and support the development of clean energy infrastructure.
Machhapuchchhre Bank said the financing is part of its continued focus on supporting renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects in Nepal.
