Market in correction mode; Nepse Index lost 7.50 points to close at 1,355.48 points

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange lost 7.50 points or 0.55% to close at 1,355.48 points. Today NEPSE index opened at  1363.03 points and was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 63.78 crore where more than 10.07 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,113 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 1.67 points and 0.52 points respectively. Except Hydropower and Manufacturing & Production, all the sectors at Nepse ended in red. Insurance sector plunges by 98.59 points.
