Market gains minimum points as turnover falls below Rs.30 Crore; two companies hit the negative circuit today

The market today stood to gain a minimum of 0.07% or 0.78 points with the benchmark index closing at 1168.83 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.29.22 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,024,615 units of shares traded through 7,488 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.

Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) continues to dominate the trade after posting the highest turnover and most number of shares traded. Today 217,311 unit shares of UPPER were traded posting a turnover of Rs.5.47 Crore. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.260 per share.

Samata Microfinance (SMATA) was today’s top gainer after it gained 3.51% or 40 points to close at Rs.1180 per share. Two companies hit the negative circuit today. Kanchan Development Bank (KADBL) lost 9.82% or 17 points to close at Rs.156 per share and National Hydro Developers (NHDL) lost 9.65% or 14 points to close at Rs.131 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.43 points and closed at 248.05 points while Float Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 84.83 points.

Hydropower, Finance and Manufacturing 7 Products ended in the red zone today after losing 0.42%, 0.29% and 4.17% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Microfinance gaining the most at 1.25%.
