Market gains minimum points after losing for five consecutive days; three hydropower companies hit the circuit today

The market today reached a high of 1281 points. However, it closed to gain minimum of 0.17 points at 1275.98 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.48.08 Crore achieved from trade of 1,509,885 units of shares traded through 7,714 transactions trading scrips of 174 listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) posted today’s highest turnover of Rs.3.78 Crore with LTP at Rs.667 per share. Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of shares traded with trade of 76,476 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stood at Rs.327 per share.

Two hydropower companies hit the positive circuit namely, Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) gained 9.52% and Khani Khola Hydropower Company (KKHC) gained 9.23%. Another hydropower company, Nepal Hydro Developers (NHDL) hit the negative circuit after losing 9.61% or 15 points and closed at Rs.141 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.40 points and closed at 272.86 points while Float Index gained 0.08 points and closed at 93.57 points.
