Market gains minimal points today after two days of loss; Microfinance sector gains the most at 1.09%

The market today made high and low of 1334 points and 1291 points respectively. The benchmark index gained minimal points at 3.35 points or 0.26% and closed at 1316.39 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.61 Arba achieved through trade of 4,191,415 units of shares traded through 16,251 transactions trading scrips of 180 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.15.40 Crore with LTP at Rs.1102 per share. NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 246,391 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.522 per share.

Civil Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CLBSL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.88% or 96 points and closed at Rs.1068 per share. Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) was the top loser after losing 5.87% or 1267 points, closing at Rs.20286 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.5 points and closed at 283.12 points while Float Index gained 0.26 points and closed at 93.43 points.

Hotels, Manufacturing and Mutual Funds were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
