Market gains double digit points for the third consecutive day to stand at 1216.92 points; three companies hit the positive circuit

After today’s gain, the market has increased by double digit points for the third consecutive day. The benchmark index gained 1.35% or 16.23 points and closed at 1216.92 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.10 Arba achieved through trade of 3,880,950 units of shares traded though 12,457 transactions trading scrips of 179 listed companies in the process.

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MLB) dominated the trade today with massive turnover of Rs.19.49 Crore achieved through trade of 878,390 units of share. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stands at Rs.230 per share.

Three companies hit the positive circuit led by Civil Laghubitta (CLBSL) with gain of 10% or 63 points and followed by Womi Laghubitta (WOMI) and Central Finance Company (CFCL). Bottlers Nepal Terai Limited (BNT) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.93% or 252 points and closed at Rs.6146 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 4.13 points and closed at 264.81 points while Float Index gained 1.32 points and close at 90.51 points.

Hotels and Manufacturing sector were among losing sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
