Market gains 6 points on the first day of the week; Asha Laghubitta and United Finance hit the positive circuit today

The market opens at a positive note on the first trading day of the week after being in the green zone for the whole day. The benchmark index gained 0.52% or 5.99 points and closed at 1161.45 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.37.12 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,477,892 units of shares traded through 5,566 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Today’s turnover was dominated by Promoter Shares of Shine Resunga Development Bank (SHINEP). The scrip posted a turnover of Rs.4.46 Crore achieved through trade of 343,088 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.130 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Asha Laghubitta (ALBSL) gained 9.84% or 36 points and closed at Rs.402 per share. Similarly, United Finance Limited (UFL) gained 9.55% or 17 points and closed at Rs.195 per share. Tinau Development Bank (TNBL) lost 6.74% or 12 points to become today’s top loser. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.166 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.08 points and closed at 247.17 points while Float Index gained 0.42 points and closet at 84.72 points.

Hotels, Development Banks and Other were among the losing sub-indices losing 1.16%, 0.32% and 0.10% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices gained points with Manufacturing and Processing gaining the most at 1.77%.
