Market gains 4.87 points after three days of loss; two microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today gained 0.41% or 4.87 points and closed at 1208.00 points. The turnover stood at Rs.24.46 Crore achieved through trade of 850,386 units of shares traded through 5,282 transactions trading scrips of 167 listed companies in the process.

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.36 Crore achieved through trade of 52,701 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.447 per share.

Two microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today. Sabaiko Laghubitta (SABSL) gained 33 points and closed at Rs.365 per share while Adhikhola Laghubitta (AKBSL) gained 27 points and closed at Rs.300 per share. City Express Finance Limited (CEFL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.89% or 8 points and closed at Rs.108 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.03 points and closed at 263.39 points while Float Index gained 0.38 points and closed at 88.91 points.

Hotels and Non-Life Insurance sector lost today while Mutual Funds remained unchanged. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
