Market gains 4.42 points with turnover at Rs.81.44 Crore; four companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today gained 0.34% or 4.42 points and closed at 1312.14 points. The turnover slipped to Rs.81.44 Crore which was achieved from trade of 3,102,284 units of shares traded through 10,091 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.

In terms of turnover, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead with turnover of Rs.8.66 Crore with LTP of Rs.333 per share. In terms of volume, Capital Merchant Bank and Finance (CMB) stood ahead after trade of 328,568 units of shares. The LTP of the company stands at Rs.22 per share.

Four companies hit the positive circuit today. Multipurpose Finance (MPFL) gained 9.94%, Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) gained 9.88%, Corporate Development Bank (CORBL) gained 9.84% and Reliance Finance (RLFL) gained 9.70%. Summit Laghubitta (SMFDB) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.05% or 41 points and closed at Rs.540 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 279.91 points while Float Index gained 0.36 points and closed at 96.11 points.

Manufacturing, Others and Microfinance were the losing sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
