Market gains 2.75 points today after losing for four consecutive days; newly listed, Sanjen Jalavidhyut and Rasuwagadhi Hydropower hit the negative circuit

After losing for four consecutive days, the market today gained 0.22% or 2.75 points. The benchmark index stood at 1248.48 points. The turnover was worth Rs.36.86 Crore achieved from trade of 1,138,639 units of shares traded through 5,413 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) posted the highest turnover today worth Rs.2.45 Crore with LTP of Rs.435 per share. In terms of volume, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB) stood ahead with trade of 97,844 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.242 per share.

Two microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today. Among them Nepal Agro Laghubitta (NAGRO) gained 10% or 79 points and closed at Rs.869 per share. Both newly list5ed hydropower companies hit the negative circuit on the first day of trade. Sanjen Jalavidhyut (SJCL) and Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) lost 26 points each and closed at Rs.235 and Rs.237 respectively.

Sensitive Index gained 0.86 points and closed at 269.96 points while Float Index gained 0.15 points and closed at 91.83 points.

Development Banks, Hydropower and Mutual Funds were the losing sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
