Market further sheds 5.17 points closing at 1225.90 points; turnover falls to Rs.25.72 Crore

The market today lost 0.42% or 5.17 points and closed at 1225.90 points. The turnover was worth Rs.25.72 Crore achieved from trade of 1,069,690 units of shares traded through 8,048 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) posted the highest turnover of Rs.2.10 Crore with LTP of Rs.324 per share. Rasuwagadhi Hydropower (RHPL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 75,889 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower company stands at Rs.208 per share.

Vijaya Laghubitta (VLBS) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.26% or 25 points and closed at Rs.612 per share. World Merchant Banking and Finance (WMBF) was today’s top loser at it lost 5.30% or 6 points and closed at Rs.107 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.22 points and closed at 265.93 points while Float Index lost 0.43 points and closed at 90.02 points.

Only Microfinance sector gained today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone today after losing points.
